Personal Data

When visitors come to the site we collect the data shown in the application form. This form is in a HIPPA compliant database and your personal information will not be shared with any third party, except as aggregate and de-identified data for reporting program outcomes.

We use cookies from services such as Google Analytics to help us understand the way that visitors are using this website. We will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. You can opt out of cookies and it should not affect the performance of the website.

How long we retain your data

If you sign up for our program, we will keep some of your information for seven years from your last date of activity. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up book distributions with your directly, and follow up with you about your family’s reading outcomes with your permission.

What rights you have over your data

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
